Masato has performed both solo and chamber music in the Weil Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. He was the winner of the Music Teachers National Association for the state of Virginia and prize winner for the ENKOR International Competition. He has taken part in many summer festivals such as the Heifetz Institute, Summit Music Festival, and Interharmony International Music Festival. He has had masterclasses with renowned musicians such as; Hilary Hahn, Ray Chen, Shirley Givens, Nicholas Kitchen, Shmuel Ashkenasi, Mark Kaplan, and Jonathan Carney. After studying privately with world famous violinist and Curtis professor, Aaron Rosand, he graduated earning his Bachelor’s degree under the tutelage of Jaime Laredo, Jan Sloman, and Stephen Rose, at the Cleveland Institute of Music.
