Hi Everyone! I’m Laterria. I am so excited to be joining the Musicfully team as a piano and voice teacher.
Music has always played a major role in my life. There are many musicians and singers within my family. I grew up singing in a youth choir at church. I even attended a performing arts high school for singing. From my childhood, I can remember times when my mother would make up fun songs for things to help me to remember how to do things. She made both learning and music fun for me. Being exposed at an early age inspired me to want to pursue a career in music.
I strive to create fun and meaningful connections with people that will guide them towards achieving their goals in music. My love for music continues to grow each and every day.
My goal as a teacher is to help, shape and mold my students into wonderful human beings. I graduated from Shenandoah University (Shenandoah Conservatory) with a BM in Voice Performance. During my time at Shenandoah, I was also Co-Director of our gospel choir. Some of my performances include the Opening of the National Museum of African American History and Culture with the Voices of Tomorrow Choir. (televised)
During my free time, I love spending time with my family and watching new shows and movies. Fun Fact: My favorite movie is Pitch Perfect.
