I am Jenny Anne, an operatic mezzo soprano. Teaching and performing are my passions. Often you will find me bursting with enthusiasm while sharing my love of music. One of the elements of teaching I find most rewarding is being able to help students find their voice, whether it’s their singing voice or their sound at the piano. Each student has something unique to share and I want to help them discover what they can do.

I love telling stories and becoming different characters, just as much as I love working with students.  I’ve performed throughout the US with companies like Palm Beach Opera and Charlottesville Opera and have even performed internationally with BelCanto in Tuscany and Si Parla, Si Canta in Italy. This fall you can see me performing at Detroit Opera.

When I’m not making music, you can find me reading a book or playing and snuggling with my beagle Tater!
