Wonderful with any age group, Meagan has also taught private voice lessons to high school students, students pursuing undergraduate degrees, children, and adults. Meagan has also been the instructor of the beginner, intermediate, and advanced Adult Group Voice classes at the Reston Community Center, teaching adults aged forty five to eighty. Meagan has also taught private piano lessons to elementary and middle school students and has helped several pre-college voice students prepare for their piano entrance exams. Meagan’s experience as an educator also includes years of work as a dance teacher and choreographer. Meagan completed fifteen years of formal dance training and is currently the Choreographer for the Potomac Falls High School Show Choir as well as all of the Potomac Falls High School drama productions.
When not teaching, you can find Meagan singing all the roles of the soprano repertoire with companies Washington Concert Opera, Washington National Opera, and Union Symphony Orchestra. She enjoys running, dancing, and hanging out with her dog Baby.
Meagan received her Masters of Music from Indiana University and her Bachelors of Music from James Madison University.
