I first started singing as part of a required music course in middle school, and discovered how enjoyable it could be! I continued with choir in high school, where I was in the two top choirs from sophomore year on. I later discovered a love for opera when I began school at Florida State University and saw one for the first time! While there I sang with the University Singers and in numerous opera ensembles and workshops from 2014 – 2019. Since then, I have continued private study and have continued to grow. I understand that learning is a never-ending process, and how fun it can be to discover new things!
After college, I attended the Opera in the Ozarks Young Artist program, where I played Antonio in the children’s opera, “Monkey See, Monkey Do”. From 2021 – 2022 I performed as Will in “Oklahoma!” and Harold Hill in “Music Man” with Mini Musicals on the Move of DC. More recently, I was a part of the chorus for Maryland Lyric Opera’s productions of “Le Nozze di Figaro“, “Macbeth“, “Otello“, and more. As of Fall 2024, I have an upcoming production in the ensemble of La Fille du Regiment with Bel Cantanti Opera, as well as an upcoming personal recital in November!
